Staying Compliant with the
Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board in 2023
METRC, which stands for Marijuana Enforcement Tracking and Compliance, is the cannabis governance solution providing end-to-end tracking and tracing for all cannabis supply chain activities to dozens of states in the United States and helping ensure a closed, legal ecosystem.
The Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board (CCB) came into existence in 2019 and oversees all legal marijuana activity across the state. All Nevada cannabis regulations are enforced by the CCB, including minimum qualifications of facility personnel, cleanliness of equipment, and clear marking of potentially hazardous cannabis products. Metrc has been selected as the state of Nevada’s standard platform for tracking cannabis from seed-to-sale. All cannabis operators currently based in Nevada must be Metrc compliant.
